BASI Pilates Studio Zürich is an official BASI Host Studio for Mat and Comprehensive Teacher Training. BASI Faculty leads the course modules; our Selnau studio becomes the place where knowledge is translated into movement, observation and confident teaching.

The Mat Teacher Training Course builds a deep understanding of Pilates principles through a broad Mat repertoire, small apparatus and precise application for individuals and groups. It is a complete Mat qualification and the natural springboard into CTTC.

Postural analysis, anatomy, biomechanics, modification and intelligent exercise selection.
Completion includes documented practice, observation and teaching hours plus theory, practical and teaching examinations.

The Comprehensive Teacher Training Course prepares teachers to work across Mat and all principal Pilates apparatus. Rather than separating equipment into isolated qualifications, CTTC connects the full repertoire through the BASI Block System.

Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and small apparatus are studied as one connected method.
Postural analysis, anatomy, biomechanics, programming and adaptation for different bodies and levels.
Twelve modules are supported by self-study, personal practice, observation and teaching assistance.

Teacher development
A dedicated 90-minute format to practise repertoire, refine cueing, prepare for course modules and examinations, and keep your teaching language clear. Choose Mat Teacher Lab for MTTC work or Equipment Teacher Lab for CTTC practice.
